Hello, my name is Andrea, I learned to crochet and macramé by the age of 12. Later watching my mom knit, I decided ‘I can do that’, so I took some remainder yarn, a pair of needles and ‘cast on’ my first stitches. After I knit a bunch of rows and, since I was a teenager I decided I knew how to knit! So, I picked a pattern and got some yarn…eventually I made the sweater, I wore it, I loved it! And since then I have learned so much more.
I have opened a pretty little yarn shop in the heart of Niagara because I want to share my love and knowledge of knitting, crocheting and a few other crafts. I hope crafty people will come and learn and enjoy as much as I do!
Pink Flower Lady Yarns, is an inclusive space, with a wide range of curated yarns, with a growing focus on Canadian independent dyers, and a wonderful range of beautiful yarns from around the world.
I have a goal of building a community of fibre artists from around the Niagara Region and beyond. Bringing knowledge and experience together and passing it along, through sharing and conversation.
Please, come in and join, and maybe I can help you pick your next project!
